Why Should You Read Boring Ben-Hur

Ben-Hur, a book by Lew Wallace is a stressful, revengeful roller coaster ride. In the beginning, I had assumed Ben Hur as the rich heir of a family. Honestly, I had even thought he was going to be a all absorbed in himself and a bit concerned about his family. I assumed he would be a bit of hypocrite and just preach about his religion. Thankfully, I was invalidated. Ben Hur mistakenly did something minor which caused the whole story. This act was so insignificant and it spun the whole story, kinda weird and I don’t know it’s just really interesting too. Though even in real life, it’s always that minor mistake that creates the chaos. Okay, okay so there’s this character Tirzah who can be called as the *other woman* but like her character is so dynamic. It gets a bit boring at some point but it’s so well written it’s hard not to love it. I don’t know about you guys, but when I read I imagine. So, my mind imagines so much water beside the water scenes in the whole book that it’s extremely calming. The Romans have a negative role in the book and Judah or Ben Hur is very enthusiastic about spreading Judaism. The whole journey of Hur in the book is his journey of finding his mom and sister after The Incident. I’m impressed by Ben Hur though. He’s like the total hero pro. He’s super talented, he’s super good looking and he’s super rich. If he wasn’t a bit preachy all the time he would be idol but who likes the lead better than sides. One thing astonishing, he did not care or like do anything for money. He just gave away money and still was very rich. Also, you might even pity him because he was very young when he had to face the harsh world. Okay now I don’t know how to write or end a book review. It was my first, immature attempt so kindly excuse.

See you next time.

Toodles.
