My Top Five Reads
Did you just come across this column? Kindly show a little kindness and stay and read on. Please buckle your seat belts because it's going to be a rollercoaster. Read on to meet the bumps...........
Books have always been a part of my daily life since I came to this Amazing World. Books have always took me to different lives like the time it took me to Wizards and Witches also one time I went to stay as a companion to Baudelaire children. I had a wonderful time when I had to go with Gabriel John Utterson to solve the issue of Dr. Jekyll. One time I had to struggle with Ben- Hur when he sought to seek revenge and Elizabeth irritated me a lot with her flying temper.
Harry Potter and the Order of Phoinex-
This book continues another amazing adventure with Harry Potter accompanied by Hermione Granger, Ronald Weasley. The plot of this story is that Ministry of Magic (Government) distractes itself from the return of the villian (Lord Voldemort) and focuses on education. They appoint a hideous auror ( people who fight the dark forces).
She bans all the fun and practical tests. This causes Harry and his Squad to form a team of people to fight against the witch(she was practically a witch) and definitely the Dark Lord. This increases into a big fight which causes the lose of my favourites. And, finally the Dark Lord(Voldemort) returns. This book is perfect with hot mug of chocolate milk at midnight (if mum allows). As it is rightly said, "Anything's possible if you have got enough nerve".
The Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning-
This story revolves around the life of three orphan siblings. These three are blessed with a special ability ( I would not to use the words 'Magic ' specifically ). They lost their parents in a fire which perished their parents and house. Their property manager informs them they will be incharged under the care of their closest living relative which apparently means the one who lives nearby. He also informs them the money left by their parents is not to be used until the eldest child turns 18 ( I am not revealing names so whoever are going to read it figure it out themselves ). Their guardian is a actor who is extremely merciless. His profession is in acting which is quite absurd
because he is the worst you can find, perhaps. This story follows their miserable life which they want to make happy.
There is beef, siblings, bed, library and a play with a marriage which can cause the eldest to make a sacrifice. "I don't know if you've ever noticed this, but first impressions are often entirely wrong".
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde -
This story by R .L . Stevenson is entirely different from our real life. There is a lawyer whose name I am not going to write here because I have stated that above. Two men are taking a walk and one of them tells the other a incident which happened a while ago in the place they were walking by. The person who listens to the story happens to be the lawyer ( Not happens but is the lawyer ). The lawyer now reads a letter from his friend Dr. Jekyll informing him about his will and who is the recipient of the money ( His friend is by God's Grace alive ). He is suprised to see the name of the inheriter. He now researches what has caused his friend to make the person the inheriter.
This story plots around the case and the lawyer's continuous visits to his friend's house and finding the story and identity of the inheriter and surprises. Precaution - Don't read if you are scared of monsters. " You must suffer me to go my own dark way".
Ben Hur -
This is a extremely meaningful story for some while for some like me it's just a man thirsty for revenge and family. There is Jew named Ben Hur who instead of going to Rome like his best friend to study and learn fighting stays in Jerusalem and studies what could be taught by his Jewish professors. He goes to meet his friend but discovers he has changed. He suddenly decides he wants to join the Roman army. With all this decision making process he accidentally does something which made him lose his mother and sister. He loses his wealth and is taken as a prisoner. After many years of hard work he seeks revenge. This then shifts to the disease his mother and sister have contacted after they are released and are thrown out of the city. Now, Ben Hur accompanied with his friends and Nazareth spread awareness.
The Naughtiest Girl -
This is a fun and lively book with no sufferings and revenge. We all know and perhaps love Enid Blyton's boarding school life books. This story's protagonist is a naughty, beautiful and wealthy kid. She can't go along with other kids because she gets evil and not - so kind ideas to prank people and teachers. She has a governess whom is extremely fond of her. But then her parents decide she needs to go to school. She is horrified. But she has to go. We follow her into her life. There is Joan, Robert - The Bully, perhaps, Julian, Katherine and chocolate cake, biscuits, and tea.
She tries to be the best kid but ends up being the naughtiest. It's going to be hard to survive with her and meetings, Head Girl & Head Boy, Monitors, Academic, Temper, Fights and a lot more. " I think people make their own faces, as the grow."
This was the end of this monotonous compile, Congratulations! You have survived it till the end. I hope you enjoyed it. Prithee come back to read another tract which I hope will interest you. ' All's Well that End's Well .'
